Flora Europaea           The most common species from the aquatic ones of the subgenus Batrachium. Fanatele Clujului natural reservation area in ponds among landslides, Cluj county, May 2008. Though rather general, the species can be precisely identified from the picture (it has just one type of leaves and these are clearly petiolate in the basal and mid parts of the stem).
